ORCA (Ocean Recreation Careers Australasia) specialise in careers in marine tourism with a focus on scuba diving and related activities. We partner with SSI (Scuba Schools International), the largest store based dive training agency
in the world, who in turn, has retail partners across Australia and in more than 2000 training facilities around the world.

ORCA works with its partnered training centres right across Australia to deliver recreational and career based training in marine tourism and through these associations, can assist in finding jobs right across the country and indeed the

The SSI slogan is “Serious Diving Serious Fun”. There are few things more fun than diving, but as the slogan says, there is a serious aspect to the sport and safety standards are taken very seriously.

In fact, it was SSI Australia’s quest for the highest standards that, in conjunction with other training organisations, led to the development of fully government accredited dive training programs.

options for a broad spectrum of employment opportunities. Our programs can lead to careers in dive instruction,
hospitality, tourism, marine science, management, retail, occupational health and safety and much more. The
programs offer both industry and government accredited training that can generate immediate full, or part time,
employment. Importantly, they may also provide credits that assist in gaining access to other tertiary qualifications, depending on the institution.
