The courses are offered to
fee-for-services students as short courses or complete
qualifications in the Certificates II, III, IV in Outdoor
Recreation.
The Certificate III in Outdoor
Recreation is a 620hr course that is Approved for Austudy,
Approved by the New South Wales Board of Studies, and provides
Queensland High School Students with 7 of their 20 QCE points-
giving them an O.P Equivalent Ranking of a 9-11. The College of
Surfing has an approved Vocational Placement Scheme for 240hrs
for the Certificate III students.
With the College of Surfing
Qualifications you can become registered with the National
Outdoor Leader Recognition Scheme as a Professional Surfing
Guide or Surfing Instructor.
